Kelly Zhaoju Shen is Chief Investment Officer of WePartner Companies and has over 11 years of real estate experience. Kelly’s primary focus is investor relations, fund raising and the underwriting of new acquisition opportunities.

Kelly fell in love with real estate in 2009 when she was looking for a rental property for herself. It was at this time she realized she had the passion, talent, and the personality for a career in real estate. Rose Jarboe, CEO of WePartner, has been Kelly’s VIP client since Kelly got her real estate license in 2009. Kelly helped Rose to purchase 20 income producing properties. This is when Rose and Kelly realized how well they complement each other as business partners and started WePartner, a firm specialized in real estate value enhancement through acquisition, development, leasing and management of underperforming properties.

Kelly, originally from China, arrived in Atlanta in 2002. Prior her engagement in real estate, Kelly worked as the lab manager in the Department of Gynecology & Obstetrics at Emory University. She received her PhD degree in Veterinary Medicine from China Agriculture University in Beijing in 2000. Beyond her Ph.D. degree, Kelly held previous positions as a lecturer at a college, and has been a researcher in veterinary, pulmonary, and gynecological medicine.

Kelly founded True Love for Special Needs Families, Inc. (“True Love”) in 2018, a non-profit organization with the goal of taking care of families with special needs. Since formation, True Love has been helping a lot of families in Atlanta, San Diego and New Jersey.

Kelly is married with four children. She truly believes that WePartner is a changemaker that benefits all its stakeholders including investors, tenants, contractors, and the society.
